High light of occasion was the Extraordinarily Mother Award

This went to Mrs. Marcia Roth for well-done job. With a child with Intellectual Disabilities, for over 30years, Ms. Roth has been a faithful mother carrying her cross without complaining, selflessly meeting the needs of her son.

Having worked with this population for over ten years, it is an encouragement to note the hard work and dedication some parents put into helping their worth live a fulfilling life. We do appreciate Ms. Roth because she is one of such mothers who will never give up, will fight, advocate and be there for her son.    

 RECOGNITION / AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

With the high rate of divorce in our community and society, we had to do some thing unique to encourage married women, refocus our attention on the purpose for marriage and above all the marriage oath taken before man and God. It is based on that that we recognized and gave award of excellence to widows /women who have been in marriage from 30yrs upwards.

We believe that these will serve as an encouragement to younger women. We laid emphasis on accepting God as Lord and Personal Savior.

We do understand that it takes the two parties involved to have a divorce, and we know that most sisters will do everything to avoid a divorce. It could be either the husband or wife who wants and insists on a divorce. We want to encourage all sisters to accept God as Lord and personal Savior, this will encourage them to take their issues to God and seek wisdom from God on how to proceed in/with a difficult situations.
